Because of My Village Campaign

“The Because of My Village Campaign is a chance to highlight a plethora of different community figures by giving them a platform to share how they’ve achieved success through their individual villages. As we grow throughout life, we accumulate a foundation of morals and personal experiences that mold us into the leaders we are today. As our Village organization continues to grow, we are continually reminded of how important it is to have a positive light in someone else’s life.” - Jaylon Bray, Founder

Because of My Village Scholarship Series

Structured for high school seniors, specifically minority males, our Scholarship Series is set to support our young men in the community who are furthering their education at a two or four-year institution by giving one lucky student $1,000. Our 6 scholarship candidates will be competing and participating in various community service opportunities and self development activities. The winner will be announced at our Scholarship Ball on Sunday, April 28, 2019.
